History of the original:
The Nordstrand is a modern trawler yacht, the original of which was built by a Dutch shipyard. With its wide displacement hull, it has a beautiful appearance on the water that always makes an impression, yet the Nordstrand is not too slow and is very maneuverable.

Description of the kit:
The components of the Nordstrand are mainly made of high-quality deep-drawn ABS plastic, which makes assembly easy. High precision ensures that even beginners will enjoy a sense of achievement with this model. The large hull offers plenty of scope for additional features. Various drive options are available for the Nordstrand. A Speed 600 is a good choice as a basic drive with very good speeds.
The kit contains all deep-drawn ABS parts, stamped ABS and plywood parts, as well as all fittings for the many details shown, such as window frames, fenders, and life jackets. A detailed 1:1 construction plan and precise building instructions with many tips and hints for beginners are also included.

The kit is aimed at beginners and model builders with little experience in ship model building.
