Concept & area of application
The Diva is designed as a small, prototype-like cabin boat in the style of the 1950s/1960s. The superstructure is removable so that the battery, motor, controller and receiver can be easily accessed.
The model is designed for electric RC operation and offers stable handling thanks to its compact design, wide hull and classic lines. The Diva is suitable for calm to slightly choppy waters and is ideal as a leisure model.
Construction & materials
The hull is constructed using traditional frame construction, which is precisely aligned using the slipway included in the kit. All frames and planks are made of cleanly stamped or milled wood.
The hull and deck are covered with mahogany veneer, which gives the model a high-quality look and the typical character of classic wooden boats.
The kit contains all fittings, the complete shaft system including propeller, and small parts for further expansion. The multilingual assembly instructions explain all steps clearly and guide you through the construction process in a comprehensible manner.
Use & RC equipment
A 400-class brushed motor is recommended for motorisation.
Either 6-cell NiCd/NiMH batteries or a 2S LiPo battery are suitable as a power supply, allowing operation to be flexibly adapted to personal preferences.
The Diva is equipped with a standard shaft system ex works. For model builders with higher performance requirements, we recommend considering the installation of a higher-quality shaft. Such a shaft enables:
– better and easier replacement of the propeller
– smoother running and greater durability
– safe use of a brushless motor if more power is required later
The interior is easily accessible, making installation, maintenance and fine adjustment of the RC components easy.
