History of the original:

Lifeboat of the Waveny class. Built in the Coast Guard shipyard in Curtis Bay, Maryland, USA. After minor modifications, the boat is now in service in British coastal waters for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution. This former Coastguard 44-foot lifeboat is a highly seaworthy rescue boat designed for search and rescue operations in poor weather and water conditions. With a qualified and experienced crew, this vessel can perform the most demanding rescue missions.

Kit description:

These small stand-up models are very popular due to their pre-moulded ABS hull, manageable size and good attention to detail and are often converted into RC models. The models are quick and easy to build. The wooden parts are already laser-cut and all the necessary fittings are included.

Who is the kit suitable for?

The kit is suitable for modellers with little experience, experienced modellers will enjoy the many details and can expand the kit into an RC model.

What else is needed?

Paints, adhesives and tools are required and can be found in our range.

We offer a motor-shaft extension kit for RC conversion (2x required).

What do the building instructions look like?

The multilingual building instructions consist of a step-by-step photo documentation and parts list with overview plans.
