FLB-1 Remote-controlled model ship fire-fighting boat kit from RoMarin Krick
History of the original:
The FLB-1 is modelled on a fireboat stationed in Neuss. It was put into service in 1983 and has been in use on the Rhine ever since. The ship is used for fire protection and rescue services. Its relatively compact design, strong motorisation and the many details and functional options make the kit an interesting model that is not difficult to build and at the same time enables many special functions.
Kit description:
For the advanced beginner, but also for the experienced modeller, there are great possibilities to equip the model with additional details and functions and to turn the ship into a small attraction on the water. The separately available fittings set has been expanded to include many small details, which are produced using the 3D resin process and very precisely executed, and brought up to the latest technical standard.
The kit contains a hull made of sturdy ABS and all superstructures, also moulded in ABS. Stiffeners and a model stand made of plywood. Rudder system, stern tube with shaft, coupling and propellers are included.
