Katja motor yacht model boat beginner kit from Ro-Marine Krick Remote-controlled model sports boat, the ideal fun model for beginners.
History of the original:
Katja is a successful replica of an elegant, four-seater sports boat with an inboard engine.
Kit contents description:
The model essentially consists of seven plastic parts. The deck and cabin are made in one piece from transparent plastic. This eliminates the time-consuming cutting out and gluing behind the windows. The Katja can be equipped for free sailing or with remote control. The rudder is set to a fixed radius when freewheeling. The model is extremely manoeuvrable and, with the appropriate motorisation, very fast.
A model stand and clear, illustrated assembly instructions are included.
Scope of delivery - Hull, deck, cabin insert, seat back, dashboard made of white coloured or transparent plastic - Complete stern tube with coupling and three-bladed propeller - Rudder set with rudder lever and steering linkage - Decoration pictures, cover masks for windows - All fittings such as cleats, steering wheel, flag and horns - Detailed building instructions and construction drawings
Who is the kit suitable for?
The kit is aimed at modellers with little or no experience in ship modelling.
What else is needed?
Paints, adhesives and tools are required and can be found in our range.
We recommend UHU allplast or UHU acrylit for assembling the parts, but superglue also works well here. Just a 400 motor is sufficient for a fast ride.
