An RC model describes a functioning model which is remotely controlled by radio. This can be cars, aeroplanes, helicopters or ships. Here you will find everything your RC model needs: Batteries, chargers, as well as cables, plugs and accessories for battery packs.

NiMh battery packs and lead batteries for model boats

The JOJO Modellbau range includes a variety of different batteries, from NiMh to LiPo batteries. NiMh battery packs (nickel metal hydride battery), for example, have a higher "energy density" than NiCd batteries. As a result, you can steer your model boat longer over the lake with one battery charge. Please note that rechargeable batteries should only be charged when they are completely discharged (empty). Lead batteries (lead accumulators) are known to have a service life of several years. In addition, they are considered reliable and inexpensive.

LiPo batteries and accessories (chargers, cables, plugs) for model boats

LiPo accumulators (lithium polymer accumulator) are in themselves nothing more than rechargeable batteries, which play an interesting role in model building and in the field of DIY electronics. When buying a LiPo battery, we recommend that you also purchase a fireproof LiPo Safe charging case. Whether and how dangerous a LiPo battery is depends largely on how it is handled, stored and used. However, the danger that overheated or damaged LiPo batteries can quickly become extremely hot, burn and explode should not be underestimated. Therefore, you should always handle and charge LiPo batteries with care.

In addition to the batteries, additional components such as cables, sockets, contacts and various connector systems are always necessary. In the JOJO Modellbaushop you will find, for example, gold contacts with various plugs (XT 90 plug, BEC plug) and various cables (servo connection cable, servo Y-cable, silicone cable, etc.).
