RC model construction kit North Sea Trawler Nordkap from Billing Boats 1:53 made of wood

History of the original:

A typical North Sea trawler built at a British shipyard in 1970. The kit is based on the original ship drawings. With a tonnage of 185 GRT, a length of 40 metres and a 1000 hp diesel engine, the Nordkap reached speeds of 12 to 14 knots and could catch herring and cod in the waters around Iceland and Greenland with a crew of 7 to 8 men.

Kit presentation:

This kit is based on the classic frame construction method. All wooden parts are precisely laser-cut. A 1:1 construction plan, building instructions and all wooden, plastic and fitting parts required for assembly are included.

Who is the kit suitable for?

The kit is aimed at experienced modellers with good knowledge and plenty of practice in ship modelling. RC conversion and expansion to a functional model are possible here.

What else is needed?

Paints, adhesives and tools are required and can be found in our range.

What do the building instructions look like?

The multilingual assembly instructions consist of very brief drawings without detailed explanations. Parts list and overview plans. Good technical imagination is required here.
