Replica of a mega yacht on a scale of 1:25
With its long, sleek design, the San Diego offers a fantastic sailing performance that is in no way inferior to the original. The long hull length of 1.27 m and the slim design ensure a magnificent and true-to-the-original appearance on the water that fully reflects the elegance of such luxury yachts.
Kit contents description:
The kit contains a hull made of sturdy ABS and all superstructures, also moulded in ABS. Stiffeners, the numerous decks and a model stand made of plywood. 2 swivelling Navy Z-Drive drives with universal joints can be found in the kit and allow high manoeuvrability and good directional stability despite the length of the model. The detailed building plan and precise building instructions with many tips and hints are included.
Equipped with two powerful electric motors (size 700 to 800), which directly drive two counter-rotating surface propellers, the San Diego starts to glide after a short acceleration phase. With the fittings set (not included), the luxurious fittings of the large prototype can be fully reproduced in the model.
The fittings set is not included and can be ordered separately as a kit!

What do the building instructions look like?
The German building instructions have 16 pages in 11 stages. The instructions are in text form. There are parts lists, recommendations for adhesives to be used and a list of recommended accessories.
