History of the original:
Rescue Jet KJ20 is a very fast jet boat, true to the original, which is used for rescue, police, pilotage and many other purposes. High speed, great manoeuvrability and the ability to navigate in very shallow waters are what make these boats and the model so special. Equipped with two jet drives like the originals, they are a real pleasure to drive. But the Rescue Jet also cuts a fine figure as a stand-alone model on the shelf with its many faithful details.
Description of the kit:
The hull, deck and superstructure are made of white fibreglass (GRP) and are therefore particularly stable. Great robustness and fine detailing are only possible with this construction method. The interior can be fitted with an optional interior kit. This includes control consoles, seats and chequer plate floor. (accessory art. 26331). The kit includes the surrounds for the rear hatch and window frames made of aluminium-coloured plastic. The kit also includes bent V2A stainless steel railing wires, as well as all plastic fittings and a decal sheet for the lettering. Two jet drives with control nozzles and reverse flaps are included in the kit and only need to be fitted with fast motors.
Who is the kit suitable for?
The kit is not aimed at beginners in modelling, rather the model is intended for racing boat enthusiasts who are interested in fast, prototypical models with jet propulsion. Experience in working with glass fibre plastic parts is required.
