This practical slipway for frame models with a keel length of up to 90 cm enables absolutely straight and distortion-free construction of frame hulls.
The keel support with grooves is screwed to the MDF base plate. Two guide blocks, one fixed and one adjustable to the hull size, hold the keel firmly and vertically. The center piece (as a right angle) can be slid to the respective bulkhead and aligns it at right angles. This ensures an absolutely symmetrical hull. The framework can remain in this slipway for a very long time until the battens and deck, which are important for the stability of the hull, are glued.
