History of the original:

In the 17th and 18th centuries, the slow decline and subsequent disappearance of pirates led to legends of hidden treasures and great adventures at sea. Pirates and buccaneers were remembered as kings of the seas. They were mainly active in the Caribbean on the trade routes between America and Europe. Pirates boarded merchant ships and plundered coastal towns, while buccaneers captured smaller merchant ships and were involved in smuggling and the slave trade.

The Buccaneer model ship is based on one of the ships that sailed on privateering voyages at that time. With this model boat, you can discover one of the darkest chapters in maritime history.

Model builders should already have some experience with building sailing ship models before attempting this kit. The model impresses with its beautiful details and decorations and is a real gem of the South Seas.

Description of the kit:

2235 parts are required to build the model, all of which are included in the kit. Various types of wood and precision-cut components enable precise assembly and ensure a very realistic, detailed appearance. Only selected woods are used for the double planking. The set includes ready-made sails, all fittings, rigging and attachments, sorted by assembly groups in a transparent box. The kit includes German assembly instructions and a small model stand with a plaque. The German assembly instructions show all the steps in detail with photos and are clearly structured for quick orientation. Plans and 1:1 templates show every detail and are helpful during construction.

The model impresses with its beautiful details and decorations and is a real model gem of the South Seas.
