History of the original:

The Palamos was used for fishing. The hull is perfect for the needs of coastal fishing and the climate conditions along the Mediterranean coast. This type of boat is typical of the Catalan coast and was built in small shipyards.

Description of the kit:

1067 parts are required to build the model, all of which are included in the kit. Various types of wood and precision-cut components enable accurate assembly and ensure a very realistic, detailed appearance. Only selected woods are used for the double planking. The set includes all fittings, rigging and attachments, sorted by assembly groups in a transparent box. The kit includes German assembly instructions and a small model stand with a plaque. The German assembly instructions show all the steps in detail with photos and are clearly structured for quick orientation.

Who is the kit suitable for?

The model is well suited for model builders with no experience in ship modelling. This model ship is a great way to get started in the hobby. The basics for larger and more difficult models can be laid with this kit. Manual dexterity is a prerequisite.

The instruction booklet consists of 32 pages of colourful, well-illustrated step-by-step instructions. The German translation of the individual assembly steps is provided on a separate sheet.
