History of the original

The galleons appeared in the middle of the 16th century in the invincible armada. For about 150 years they were the warship par excellence. The San Francisco II is a truly magnificent model with its three decks, a rich interior and an impressive and robust appearance.

Kit description

The kit contains over 1400 individual parts to build the model. All wooden parts are precisely prefabricated using the laser cut process. Planks must of course be customised.  All fitting parts are made entirely of metal and some are particularly detailed using the etching process and are clearly laid out in a sorting box. The sails are already sewn. New is a set of cast metal figures for an even more interesting representation of the model. Large construction plans, German instructions with photos and video documentation guide you safely through the entire building process. The instructions are available as a digital download at the bottom of this page. A construction time of 550 hours can be expected.

This kit includes a wooden model stand.
