Product information "Plank Clamp"

Planking aid- Frame clamp Plank clamp


Ideal for strong planks that are to be attached to the hull under high tension.

The clamps are clamped tightly to the bulkhead with the thumbscrew. The steel pins then press the plank securely to the former at two points. The plank can be held securely without nailing or screwing, even under tension, until the glue dries.

Well suited for frames that have a thickness of 4-6mm , with 3mm frames the holding force is lower. Suitable for all planks. Please note that the clamps can not override the physics in terms of contact force.
