aero-naut Bella – classic RC sailing boat kit with traditional wooden hull construction
The aero-naut Bella kit is a high-quality RC sailing boat kit that combines classic lines with traditional wooden model construction. The model is completely constructed from individual, laser-cut wooden parts and is aimed at model builders who consciously value craftsmanship and authentic construction.
The Bella is regarded in model building circles as a challenging but very rewarding construction project. The clean laser technology and high-quality materials give the finished model a harmonious appearance, but require careful work.
Construction and design
The hull of the Bella is constructed in the classic wooden construction method from laser-cut frames, keel and planking parts. All hull components are precisely prepared, but must be completely aligned, glued, sanded and sealed by the model builder. This construction method allows for a high degree of dimensional accuracy and individual surface treatment.
The wooden deck and superstructure parts are also laser-cut and can be painted, stained or sealed with a clear coat. The structured design facilitates the clean assembly of the mast, keel and rudder.
RC equipment and sailing
The Bella is designed for classic RC sailing. A servo for the rudder, a powerful servo for sail adjustment and a remote control with at least two channels are required. The sails are included in the kit and are matched to the rig.
The ballast keel, which is also included, ensures stable sailing behaviour and supports good handling even in changing wind conditions.
Scope of delivery and presentation
The kit contains all laser-cut wooden parts for the hull, deck and superstructure, mast, fittings, sails and ballast keel.
A matching boat stand is included so that the finished model can be stored safely and presented decoratively.
Area of application
The Bella is a ready-to-sail RC sailing boat for calm to moderately windy waters such as ponds and lakes. It is particularly suitable for model builders who appreciate classic wooden hull construction and want to build an elegant sailing boat with a traditional character.
