Schooner Bluenose stand-up model kit from Billing Boats
History of the original:
The schooner "Bluenose" occupies an outstanding position in the history of seafaring and sailing. Built for fishing near Newfoundland, she soon proved to be so fast that she won every one of the great classic regattas on the American east coast. Built in Nova Scotia (Canada) in 1921 - sunk near Haiti in 1946. A faithful copy, the "Bluenose II", was launched in 1964.
Kit contents description:
This kit is based on the classic frame construction method. All wooden parts are precisely laser-cut. A 1:1 building plan, building instructions and all the wooden, plastic and fitting parts required for assembly are included.
