History of the original:
The Bluenose was launched in Nova Scotia in 1921 to fish in the rich waters of Newfoundland. However, the ship soon found another purpose, as it was realised that this schooner was winning all the regattas held on the east coast of the United States. It became the fastest yacht until it ended its glorious career on a rocky reef off Haiti. Bluenose II, built in 1964, is a replica of the original Bluenose.
Kit description:
The kit contains all the necessary parts to build the model, all wooden parts are precisely prefabricated using the laser cut process. All fitting parts are of very good quality and are clearly laid out in a sorting box. The sails are already sewn. All construction plans, German instructions, many photos and video tutorials to help with construction are only available in digital form and must be downloaded as a PDF document! NO printed instructions in the set.
A model stand and a small brass plate round off the kit.
