Fly Sky
FlySky – Innovative RC Systems from China
Established in 2006, FlySky develops radio control transmitters, receivers, sensors, and accessories for cars, planes, boats, and drones. With R&D in Shenzhen and production facilities in Dongguan, the company merges ergonomic design and modern hardware with strict quality control.
FlySky has been a pioneer in digital RC protocols — evolving from FM-PPM to advanced AFHDS/AFHDS2A frequency-hopping systems. These form the backbone of their radio systems, like the FS-i6X transmitter, which gains enhanced features via firmware updates.
Key Products & Technology
The FS-i6X starts as a 6-channel transmitter and can be expanded to 10 channels through DIY modifications — supporting fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters, and multirotors.
FlySky gear offers modern features such as telemetry, long-range 2.4 GHz transmission, and stable AFHDS protocol performance at an accessible price. Firmware updates extend capabilities and ensure longevity.
Community Feedback
Hobby forums praise FlySky for offering excellent value. A noted limitation: FlySky does not support Spektrum receivers, as their radios only use AFHDS protocols—not DSM or DSMX.
Conclusion
FlySky delivers cost-effective, innovative RC systems—ideal for beginners, DIY enthusiasts, and anyone seeking flexible, upgradable transmitters and receivers.
