Receiver for TANDEM and TWIN controllers
The TW R6 receiver in the TWIN series features a new stable TW protocol that benefits from the simultaneous use of two active 2.4GHz frequency bands. The active-active protocol differs from the general active-standby redundancy solutions (where one receiver only takes over signal control when the other is in failsafe mode). With the TW protocol, two 2.4GHz frequency bands are active simultaneously on the TW series receiver. This receiver was developed for users who want to benefit from the reliability and long range of their radio connections, which can typically be up to dozens of kilometres.
The TW R6 receiver is equipped with 2x 2.4GHz antennas. The signal outputs include one SBUS output channel and 6 PWM output channels. It also supports telemetry functions via FBUS / S.Port. The use of the FBUS protocol in the ETHOS system means that signal control and telemetry can be connected to any device that supports the FBUS protocol using just a single cable connection to achieve bidirectional transmission, which also simplifies the construction of the model with fewer cables. In addition, the receiver's inverted S.Port can enable easy connection of flight controllers.
In addition, the TW R6 also enables a 4ms race mode with extremely low latency. When the race mode is combined with the reliable dual 2.4GHz solution of the TW series, racers have a fast, stable and reliable signal during races without worrying about signal loss due to interference.
