Clipper Cutty Sark Mini Mamoli
Truly a splendour, a masterpiece on the water, equipped with the imposing sail area of 2,972 square metres. This outstanding ship was launched in 1869 and christened the "Cutty Sark". It is the only example of the then popular clipper type that has been completely preserved to this day: as a floating ship museum, it lies imposingly at anchor in the harbour of Greenwich in England.
The 3D printed hull made of PLA plastic (polymer+wood particles) makes it particularly easy to assemble right from the start. The precise construction drawings on a scale of 1:1 ensure an excellent overview and comprehensibility - there are no misunderstandings or questions! In this way, ship modelling is also accessible to children and beginners, because it is simply fun! And yet, in the end, a model proudly stands there that has really earned its name, since it is made exclusively of fine natural woods with brass fittings and completely without plastic parts. Last but not least, the finished model looks elegant and pleasing enough to cut a good figure at any time, even in direct comparison with its "big brothers" - ship models on a larger scale! What's more, it fits on any bookshelf.
The set contains all the necessary components to build the model. The hull is prefabricated and only needs a little work. The add-on parts are made of precious wood with laser engravings and provide beautiful details. The fittings are made of cast metal. A small model stand is included.
Not included are paints, tools and adhesives.
Revised new edition of the well-known kits from the Mini Mamoli series .
