The Anna is a simple steam launch for passenger and goods transport, as was used everywhere at the turn of the century.
The construction kit for the popular Anna steamboat has been reworked and is now also available with a new Anna version 2 steam engine, making it a very attractively priced complete package for entry-level ship modelling with a working steam engine.
The "Anna" steam engine is a simple-looking single-cylinder engine with a soft-soldered brass boiler, which is heated with dry spirit (esbit). This visually appealing engine delivers astonishing performance, propelling the Anna steamboat lightly and swiftly. It is not possible to control the steam engine. The boat is only steered using the rudder.
