JULE is a typical fishing cutter, as they can be found everywhere on the North Sea and Baltic Sea coast. They were built from the beginning of the 20th century until well into the 1960s. Initially made of wood, from the 1950s also in steel.
The model has an elaborately designed hull, which gives the Jule a true-to-the-original sailing appearance even in stronger seas. Jule impresses with a very high level of detail. The enclosed set of etched parts includes not only some fittings but also the complete catching and processing area for the deck. In addition to a stove for a freshly caught lunch, numerous lamps and lanterns are also included, which encourage an optional upgrade with LEDs right now. As icing on the cake, the main spotlight is fully controllable and can be rotated 360° with the help of a winch. So nothing stands in the way of a successful catch at dawn.
The highlight of the model, however, are the fishing nets. The complete fishing apparatus can be made fully functional by installing sail winches. Lowering and hauling in the nets is possible while the model is underway. The kit is manufactured using aero-naut's proven laser technology, which guarantees a very high accuracy of fit of the individual parts. Jule is built almost entirely from wood and further enhanced by fine mahogany. Detailed building instructions with many step-by-step pictures ensure a quick and easy assembly of the model.
The wheelhouse is completely removed. The elaborate etched parts set of nickel silver, also included in the kit, includes headlights, vibrating screen, stove, sorting system and much more. An extensive set of fittings made of cast metal parts further enhances the lavish equipment. The model can be equipped with many other special functions.
The model kit contains:
-laser-cut plywood parts
-Mahogany parts as well as the disks
-ship shaft, rudder
