MJX Hyper GO 10303 Citroën C3 WRC 1:10 – 4WD Brushless RC Rally Car
The MJX Hyper GO 10303 Citroën C3 WRC is a 1:10 scale radio-controlled rally car featuring permanent four-wheel drive, a powerful brushless motor and an officially licensed Citroën body. The model is designed for high-speed driving on tarmac, controlled drifts and use on compacted gravel tracks. Two different sets of tyres allow the car to be adapted to the respective surface.
The technical specifications, featuring an aluminium chassis, metal drivetrain, oil-filled differentials and electronic stability control, are aimed at RC drivers who value not only high speed but also precisely tunable handling.
7075 aluminium chassis with 4WD and metal differentials
The Hyper GO 10303 is based on a high-strength chassis plate made from 7075 aluminium. Additional bracing increases the rigidity of the structure and ensures precise guidance of the chassis components under high loads.
The permanent all-wheel drive transmits the motor’s power to both axles via a central metal drive shaft. Metal gears, ball-bearing-mounted drive components and CVD drive shafts ensure a robust power transmission.
Separate bevel gear differentials, filled with silicone oil, operate at the front and rear. They allow for different wheel speeds when cornering, whilst the oil filling limits the compensating movement. MJX fits differential oil with a viscosity of 100,000 cSt on the front axle and 200,000 cSt on the rear axle as standard. This setup influences both steering response and traction when accelerating out of bends.
Sensor-equipped brushless drive with 80 A speed controller and Bluetooth programming
Power is provided by a 3652 brushless motor with 3,200 kV and a sensor system. The sensor detects the rotor position, enabling the speed controller to control the motor precisely. This improves power modulation, particularly when starting off and at low speeds, compared to a comparable sensorless drive.
The 80 A brushless speed controller supports 2S and 3S LiPo batteries. With a suitable 3S battery, MJX specifies a top speed of up to approximately 70 km/h. The speed actually achievable depends on battery performance, terrain and driving conditions.
A special feature is the Bluetooth programming via a smartphone app. This allows you to adjust, amongst other things, the motor braking effect (drag brake) and the neutral range of the throttle control. In addition, operating data such as battery voltage and motor and ESC temperature can be monitored.
The integrated BEC supplies the radio system with either 6 or 7.4 volts and, according to the manufacturer, provides a maximum output current of 13 A.
Independent suspension, oil-filled shock absorbers and gyro stabilisation
The rally chassis features independent suspension with wishbones, anti-roll bars on both axles and four oil-filled shock absorbers with metal housings. The shock absorbers control spring movement on uneven surfaces, whilst the anti-roll bars reduce body roll during rapid changes of direction. MJX specifies a viscosity of 500 cSt for the shock absorber oil.
The steering is actuated by a digital 6 kg servo. To assist with vehicle control, a G3C gyro system is fitted, which detects rotational movements about the vertical axis and generates corrective steering signals when required. The level of intervention can be continuously adjusted between 0 and 100 per cent. The steering direction and the end points of the steering travel can also be configured via the gyro unit.
The combination of four-wheel drive, chassis geometry and adjustable stabilisation enables both stable handling at higher speeds and controlled drift manoeuvres on suitable surfaces.
Licensed Citroën C3 WRC body with LED lighting
The polycarbonate body is modelled on the Citroën C3 WRC and features its characteristic red, white and black rally livery with sponsor logos. Moulded wheel arch extensions, air intakes, front spoiler and the large rear wing replicate the key features of the competition car.
To secure the body, it is hooked into place at the front and positioned at the rear using a magnetic fastener. Additional securing clips ensure a firm fit. The LED lighting is connected electrically via integrated contacts, so no separate light cables need to be disconnected when removing the body.
The lighting system comprises front headlights and rear lights with brake and indicator functions. The lighting can be operated via the remote control.
Two sets of tyres for tarmac and gravel
The scope of delivery includes two complete sets of wheels with different tyre tread patterns. The road tyres are suitable for smooth, paved surfaces, whilst the more deeply grooved rally tyres can provide additional traction on firm gravel and uneven surfaces.
Changing the tyres allows the vehicle to be adapted to different track conditions. However, due to its comparatively low ground clearance, the rally chassis is not designed for rough terrain with deep ruts or large obstacles.
2.4 GHz radio control and adjustable driving functions
The included T3D pistol-grip transmitter enables proportional control of throttle, brake and steering. The built-in R3B receiver has three channels.
On the transmitter, you can trim the control functions, reverse their direction of action and limit the maximum travel via dual rate. A reduced throttle setting makes it easier to control the car during initial test runs or on smaller driving surfaces.
Contents and required accessories
The MJX Hyper GO 10303 is supplied as a largely ready-to-run (RTR) model with built-in electronics. Included are the painted Citroën C3 WRC body, the T3D radio control unit, two complete sets of wheels with road and rally tyres, tools, a bag of accessories and spare parts, and the instruction manual.
The MX-10303 version is supplied without a driving battery or charger. You will also need a suitable 2S or 3S LiPo battery with an XT60 connector, a LiPo balancer charger and four AA batteries for the remote control.
MJX recommends an Angry Snail 2S LiPo with 5000 mAh. If using other batteries, please note the dimensions of the battery compartment.
