The frigate, armed with 30 cannons, has gone down in history thanks to its designer, the famous architect Fredrik Chapman. His seminal work Architectura Navalis Mercatoria - published in Stockholm in 1768 - contains not only all the calculations relating to construction techniques and hydrodynamic displacement, but also numerous diagrams and sketches of this impressive ship.
All production parts of this kit - which is of course based on Chapman's plans - are pre-cut and various components are pre-assembled. This means that even less experienced modellers will be able to create a faithful replica of this beautiful ship.
