Switch Electric Motor Trainer RTF Seaplane with Gyro Stabilisation
Our flying boat is a fun all-rounder that offers a great deal of enjoyment to both beginners and experienced modellers alike. The Switch can be used as a boat in calm waters and can also take off from the water’s surface. Once airborne, the gyro-stabilised seaplane is controlled solely via the throttle and rudder controls.
In winter, the Switch can also be launched and landed on snow-covered surfaces, whilst hand launches are equally easy to perform at any time.
There are 2 selectable flight modes:
1) high stabilisation rate with minimal effect on control inputs for beginners
2) low stabilisation rate with high effect on control inputs for advanced pilots
In flight, the Switch climbs in a controlled manner via the throttle; the more throttle applied, the faster the Switch gains altitude. Steering is achieved through the coordinated control of the two motors with push-propellers via the rudder control. Thanks to the integrated gyro stabilisation, the seaplane is very easy to handle.
Robust EPP foam has been chosen as the material, ensuring high durability for everyday use.
LED lighting, which can be switched on and off via the transmitter, complements the fantastic appearance and adds to the fun during twilight flights or trips.
The 500mAh 1S lithium power battery lasts 10–12 minutes per charge, depending on the amount of full throttle used; a USB charging cable for easy charging via USB ports is, of course, included.
