Paint sets for model ships and model-making

With a model-making paint set, you get the right shades for your model ship conveniently put together. Many of our model-making paint sets are specially tailored to specific historical ships and model kits, making it easier to achieve an authentic paint finish.

In our range, you’ll find paint sets for model ships such as the HMS Victory, Bounty, Santísima Trinidad, Flying Dutchman, Prinz Eugen, King of Mississippi and many other well-known models. We also offer paint sets for historic galleons, caravels, fishing boat models and figures.

The right colours for your model ship kit

Historical model ships, in particular, require a wide range of different shades. A specially curated colour set for model ship building saves you the hassle of searching for individual colours and provides a practical basis for a harmonious and detailed colour scheme.

Depending on the set, it contains various acrylic paints and model-making paints that are tailored to the colour scheme of the respective model. Some sets supplement the colour selection with, for example, wood stains or other products for surface finishing.

Paint sets for historical ship models

The right colour scheme plays a crucial role in the appearance of a finished ship model. Particularly with well-known historical ships such as the HMS Victory, Bounty or Santísima Trinidad, coordinated paint sets help to ensure that the hull, superstructure, deck details, ornamentation and fittings are rendered accurately.

Model-making paint sets are also a practical solution for beginners: rather than having to select numerous individual colours, the colours required for the project in question are readily available. Experienced model-makers also benefit from the coordinated colour selection.
