The Myrtle Corey is a wonderful example of the river boats of the late 18th century, which were mainly found on the Mississippi, Arkansas, and their tributaries. This type of boat was usually built on site without any plans, using simple materials and many makeshift tools, and was equipped with makeshift rigging.
Description of the kit:
The kit consists of a deep-drawn plastic hull and roof parts. The superstructures are made of PVC hard foam and are already finished and cleanly punched out. The kit contains a huge number of wooden parts for the typical deck planking and the cladding of the superstructures. Particular attention has been paid to the high level of detail (e.g., boiler details). The kit includes all necessary fittings and accessories as castings, turned wooden parts, and laser-cut components, including, of course, all parts for the paddle wheel and rudders with linkages.
A gear motor with a maximum speed of 120 rpm should be used for the drive.

Who is the kit suitable for?
