The Graupner company was founded in Stuttgart in 1930 and, together with Simprop, Robbe Modellsport, and Multiplex, was one of the "big four" that made the hobby of RC model building popular in Germany. Since 1938, the Graupner company has distributed plans and material for model ships. Later, construction plans and accessories for model aircraft and model railways were added. In 2013, the Graupner product portfolio including all trademark rights was taken over by the company SJ Incorporated from South Korea. Since 2020, sales have been limited to RC electronics and remote controls for model ships and model planes.
Buy a Graupner remote control, chew proven RC technology with a long tradition. In 1960, the company sponsored the development of the first commercial, free-flying electric flying model called Silentius. It was powered by a geared motor with a bell-shaped armature. This enabled a high degree of efficiency and made flight operation possible for the first time with the power sources that were still very weak at the time. The first kit for a radio-controlled electric model aircraft, the twin-engine Hi-Fly, followed in 1973.
Today, the worldwide proven and popular range of Graupner RC remote controls includes high-quality 2.4 GHz remote control systems with safe Hopping Telemetry Transmission High Frequency (HoTT) part. By using up to 75 frequency hopping channels, the Graupner remote control offers very high operational reliability and is well protected against external interference by optimised frequency hopping. Models with USB port allow updates and make Graupner remote control systems future-proof.
In addition to remote controls with tradition, you will also find a wide portfolio of RC electronics such as charging technology, motors, controllers, servos and much more from Graupner in our shop. This makes it child's play to breathe life into your model boats and model planes.
