Geared motors for model ships: Powerful drives for modelling

Get your model ship up to speed with our powerful geared motors! In this category you will find an extensive selection of geared motors that have been specially developed for the requirements of model making. Whether for elegant yachts, fast racing boats or robust tugs - our geared motors offer the right drive solution for every model.

Function and properties of geared motors:

Powerful performance: geared motors transfer the power of the electric motor to the propeller shaft via a gearbox. As a result, they achieve a significantly higher torque and thus enable powerful starting, manoeuvring and acceleration of your model ship.

Smooth running: Thanks to the gearbox, geared motors run particularly quietly and with little vibration. This ensures a pleasant driving experience and at the same time protects the hull and other components of your model.

Versatile application options: Geared motors are available in various reduction ratios, allowing you to adapt the speed and torque to the specific requirements of your model boat.

Simple installation: Most geared motors are quick and easy to install. This means you can get your model up and running in no time at all.

High-quality materials: Our geared motors are made from high-quality materials and are characterised by a long service life and reliability.
What you should look out for when buying a geared motor:

Gear ratio: The gear motor's gear ratio should be adapted to the size and hull type of your boat model as well as the desired performance.
Torque: The torque of the geared motor should be high enough to powerfully drive your model boat.
Shaft diameter: The shaft diameter of the geared motor must match the diameter of the propeller shaft.
Size: The size of the geared motor should be selected so that it has sufficient space in the hull of your model ship.
