Your model ship could use some color? Whether you're new to airbrushing or an experienced model hobbyist, we have a wide range of colors and choices of airbrush acrylic paints for you.
moreBasically, you can use all liquid colors for airbrush. The only condition: The colors must be able to be thinned with water so that the color pigments fit through the spray gun of the airbrush machine. However, since the color pigments should be as fine as possible, special acrylic paints are used in most cases. Please note that the airbrush acrylic colors are supplied undiluted.
Our airbrush acrylic colors from the company Artesania Latinastrong> convince with their 100% color intensity. Acrylic paints not only decorate, but also protect your model and craft projects. Our colors offered in the JOJO Schiffsmodellbau Shop are easy to use. They adhere very well to the substrate and show no tendency to sag. The acrylic paints form an elastic and durable film with a satin finish. This is resistant to abrasion and has great stability and color retention. You should allow at least 30 minutes for touch dry at 20°C and 70% relative humidity.
Our airbrush acrylic paints can be thinned with water and applied with a brush. For airbrush application we recommend our special thinner. You will always achieve great opacity with our paints. It does not matter how you apply the paint. In both cases, the surfaces to be painted must be clean, dry and well prepared. We recommend a water-based primer before application.html In the product information you will find a detailed description of surface preparation and primer.
Are you looking for a basic set of paints? Then we recommend the "Basic figures paint set". This consists of the colors white, black, royal blue, a rich yellow, vermilion and a beige. With these basic colors, you are well equipped. However, we recommend that you supplement your color palette with special shades. Do you own model figures of a ship's crew and want to wield the paintbrush on them? "King of Mississippi" is the matching paint set for the "Artesania Latina King of Mississippi" figure set It contains 6 dropper bottles with the required colors according to the instructions. By painting you give your model figures a lively and realistic look.
