Hobbywing QuicRun 880 Dual 80 A Brushed ESC (Boat & Car Controller)
The Hobbywing QuicRun 880 Dual 80 A Brushed ESC is a powerful and versatile speed controller for brushed motors, designed for both RC boats and RC vehicles such as cars, trucks, and crawlers in the 1/10–1/8 scale range. With its waterproof and dustproof housing (IP67), it is built for tough outdoor conditions – whether on the water, off-road terrain, or in harsh weather.
A special feature is the dual output design, which allows two motors to be connected in parallel and run synchronously. This makes the controller ideal for twin-motor boats or four-wheel-drive vehicles. The combination of adjustable PWM frequency and advanced DEO/Freewheeling technology ensures smooth throttle response, refined control, and highly realistic driving behavior.
Another highlight is the Drag Brake with nine selectable levels. This allows braking force to be precisely adjusted to the model type, weight, and terrain – giving perfect control when starting, slowing down, or stopping.
The QuicRun 880 offers a wide range of 15 programmable parameters. Settings are configured through a dedicated PRG/FAN port, and for even greater convenience, the optional LED program card can be used (not included in the package, available separately).
In addition to LiPo and NiMH batteries, the ESC also supports lead-acid (Pb) batteries, making it highly flexible. Please note: a connector matching your chosen battery system is not included and should be ordered separately.
