The model of the King of Mississippi is reminiscent of Mark Twain's famous novel characters such as Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn. Build the completely re-engineered 1/80 scale model of the classic paddlewheel steamboat King of the Mississippi, featuring a false keel and frames construction system that will help you build the model in the same way as the real ship.

The model ship kit contains all the parts the model builder needs to build: 8 sheets of high-precision laser-cut plywood parts, birch and lime strips, precious wood veneers and round sticks. Countless details can be found on 2 large sheets of photo-etched parts. There are also die-cast, brass and wood details, fittings, fabric flags and a model stand with nameplate as a bonus.

Construction is by complete digital instructions with precise step-by-step pictures and video tutorials. Printed instructions are not available. The digital instructions can be downloaded for free at the end of this guide.

3 extensions are available for the kit ! LED lighting, a motorized paddle wheel and figures can be purchased as accessories. (not included in the kit) The chimney could also be equipped with a smoke generator.

This really well-made kit is aimed at experienced model builders and is only suitable for beginners to a limited extent.
