Bluenose 1:160 Mini Mamoli

The Bluenose - a schooner yacht for fishing, a legend in her own lifetime, was launched in 1920. She was used to catch cod in the vast fishing grounds off Newfoundland, but her crew also proudly and enthusiastically took part every year in the traditional Canadian-American fishing boat regatta. The Bluenose remained undefeated for 17 consecutive years.

The pre-milled hull made of solid wood makes it particularly easy to assemble right from the start. The precise construction drawings on a scale of 1:1 ensure excellent clarity and comprehensibility - there are no misunderstandings or questions! In this way, ship modelling becomes accessible even to children and beginners, because it is simply fun! And yet, in the end, a model proudly stands there that really deserves its name, since it is made exclusively of fine natural woods with brass fittings and completely without plastic parts. Last but not least, the finished model looks elegant and pleasing enough to cut a good figure at any time, even in direct comparison with its "big brothers" - ship models on a larger scale! What's more, it fits on any bookshelf.

The set contains all the necessary components to build the model. The hull is prefabricated and only needs a little work. The add-on parts are made of precious wood and some of them have to be made by yourself. Some parts are laser engraved and provide beautiful details on the model. All fittings are made of cast metal. The included model stand is strikingly beautiful !

Not included are paints, tools and adhesives.
