The alarm module is intended for models with older speed controllers without protection circuits for Lipos. This allows heavy NC battery packs to be replaced by lightweight Lipos without the risk of deep discharge. The sensor can be used for 2S or 3S batteries and can be switched on the module using a small switch.
The alarm sounds at 6.6V or 9.9V - there is no switch-off, i.e. operation of the model should be stopped quickly when the signal is given.
A useful side effect - missing models can be found more easily as soon as the alarm starts.
