Magnum Outboard Motor – Retro design for model boats up to approx. 80 cm

The Magnum outboard motor combines classic retro charm with modern propulsion technology and is the ideal choice for model builders who want to give their boat a particularly striking look. With its eye-catching design, the outboard motor is reminiscent of the legendary powerboats of past decades and becomes a real eye-catcher at the stern of any model boat.

The kit is suitable for model boats up to approx. 80 cm in length and consists of a white plastic housing, a black base with a pre-fitted flex shaft, and two couplings for electric motors with drive shafts of 3.17 mm or 4.0 mm.

Installation is simple and secure, using four screws on the transom. For optimal adjustment to the model boat, the outboard motor can be adjusted in height by approx. 7 mm. In addition, the angle of attack can be adjusted by approx. +/- 5°. The electric motor is mounted under the cover to save space. As space is limited under the cover, particular attention should be paid to the motor dimensions, especially if motor cooling is required.

Power is transmitted via a flexible shaft. The flexible shaft must be greased before initial use to ensure reliable and long-lasting operation.

Note: The electric motor and propeller are not included in the scope of delivery.
