Acrylic Filler 18ml

Vallejo Acrylic Filler is a versatile product designed specifically for modellers to fill and smooth small gaps, cracks and imperfections in plastic models and components.

Make sure that the surface you want to apply the filler to is clean, dry and free of grease. Shake the bottle well before use to ensure that the filler is well mixed. Apply the filler directly from the bottle or with a small spatula, a toothpick or a fine brush to the area to be treated.

Press the filler into the gaps or cracks and carefully smooth the surface. Allow the filler to dry completely. The drying time may vary depending on the thickness of the layer and the ambient temperature, but is usually around 30 minutes to an hour. After drying, you can smooth the filled area with fine sandpaper (e.g. 400 to 600 grit) to achieve a seamless surface. Remove the sanding dust with a soft brush or cloth. After sanding and cleaning, you can prime and paint the surface. The Vallejo Acrylic Filler is compatible with most paints and primers, apply the filler in thin layers to ensure better control and a smoother finish. For deeper cracks or larger imperfections, it may be necessary to apply multiple coats, allowing each coat to dry completely before applying the next.
