Mini-Jet 20 with reverse function With jet propulsion, water is sucked in through openings in the fuselage and expelled again at high pressure via a nozzle at the tail. The reverse thrust principle accelerates the model to considerable speeds in a very short time. A special feature is the high maneuverability for which a movable control nozzle is responsible. For reverse travel, a special flap deflects the water jet without having to reverse the direction of rotation of the shaft/motor. With jet propulsion, neither the propeller nor the rudder protrude from the hull of the vessel - this makes it possible to navigate shallow water without any problems. Our Mini-Jet 20 is suitable for small and medium model boats. The integrated 19 mm Ø impeller is driven by a brushless motor. One servo is connected to the control nozzle a second one steers the reversing flap. The Mini-Jet 20 would be precisely manufactured from plastic. The stainless steel shaft has ball and sinter bearings and is sealed with a rubber ring.
