In nautical terms, a Draggen is a small multi-fluke anchor, also known as a search or throw anchor. It is used, for example, on smaller boats or for retrieving objects from the water.

This decorative replica made of burnished white metal casting has four curved flukes. As a draggen can come loose more easily when the chain is pulled horizontally, this type of anchor is hardly used today.
