There is probably no marina in the world where there is not at least one Star-Class yacht at anchor, with her incomparably harmonious and sleek lines a familiar and always welcome sight for all sailing enthusiasts! The Turconi brothers, owners of MAMOLI, have drawn on their wealth of experience of the "Star-Class" to produce this sophisticated model kit, as they used to own a model of this extraordinary boat themselves, which they used to challenge themselves time and again as young men in exciting regattas on the picturesque waters of Lake Como.

As with all other sailing yachts in the MAMOLI range, every detail of the "Star-Class" has been manufactured with the utmost care: It goes without saying that the hull is made entirely of fine woods; the sails and rigging are faithfully modelled on a Star-Class of the 1930s, and the style of those years is continued in the colour scheme of the naturally gloss-lacquered hull right through to the planking of the deck with visible wooden planks. Even the rigging and ropes are modelled on the historical original down to the smallest detail - from the shrouds made of braided steel cable to the bulkheads and halyard ropes made of cotton to the metal attachments on the mast and many other details! The manufacturer has done everything possible to give sailing enthusiasts something to make their hearts beat faster.

The wooden kit is a standing model in the best Mamoli quality! Double hull panelling is standard. Many fittings made of cast metal or wood as well as multilingual building instructions and detailed building plans enrich this kit series. Sail cloth and material for the stand complete the kit.
