AIACE cargo ship kit

Reproduction of a medium-sized Italian cargo ship that regularly travelled the Mediterranean from the 1930s to the 1980s.

The original 110-foot merchant ship was used to transport general cargo and liquids. This type of ship was also used as a transport ship for ships that were too large for the respective harbour. Due to its size, it was able to cover medium-long distances, but could also call at smaller harbours. With its powerful drive, the AIACA could transport up to 800 tonnes.

The entire model and the fittings are made of high-quality materials. The quality of the wooden and metal parts is very appealing. They are precisely prefabricated and meet today's requirements for a high-quality kit. The flag, ship's shaft and propeller are also included.

The drive can be realised via a gear motor or as a direct drive. We recommend replacing the plastic propeller supplied with a 3-blade brass prop with a diameter of 40 mm.
