Acrylic paint assortment for modern model ships

Our acrylic assortment has more than 30 different colours of the brand Billing Boats ready for you. The acrylic colours are excellently suited for the true-to-the-original painting of modern model ships. Impressive results can be achieved with them. Our paints are supplied in plastic bottles with screw caps. They contain 22 ml. When applying the Billing Boats acrylic paints, you can use them classically with a brush or with an airbrush.

Since your health is important to us, our acrylic paints for ship models are non-toxic. In addition, they do not contain any strong-smelling solvents. When it comes to quality, we attach great importance to good covering power, fast-drying colours, yield and high durability.

Application of acrylic paints on ship models

To ensure a good application of paint on your model ship, you should only apply the acrylic paints to a prepared surface. Clean the surface to be painted and wipe away dirt and other dust particles with water. Now you can let your creativity run free on the dried surface. You will achieve an optimal, evenly covering result if you apply the paint in several thin layers.

Airbrush for model ships

The acrylic paints in our paint range are also suitable for airbrushing. The special thing about the airbrush technique is that very fine transitions can be sprayed. Very filigree and beautiful gradients between different colours can be created by the infinitely variable dosage of the spray paint.

In airbrushing, paint and air meet through a sophisticated system in a fine spray apparatus / spray gun. Please note that it is essential to mix Billing Boats thinner (BCA040) with the paint so that you can spray with the airbrush gun without any problems. In addition, the air pressure must not be too low, otherwise the paint will dry on the way to the model. After use, airbrush guns and all other tools used should be cleaned immediately with water.
